Qualifications

We are looking for Chief Officers with seagoing experience on container vessels. Candidates should be competent in cargo planning and management, monitoring of ship’s GM and stresses, using TSB CASP software. Maintenance of deck and all deck machinery and requisition of consumable materials / spare parts using AMOS Software. Supervising all kind of deck works and checking that all safety precautions are taken, paying particular attention during working in enclosed spaces and working aloft. Personnel management: good communicable and organizational skills required for keeping general discipline on board in multinational crew. Monitoring that vessel is always operated in compliance with ISPS Code and Ship Security Plan. Garbage management according MARPOL regulations. Ballast management (preferably experience with Ballast Water Treatment Systems). Working language on board of all MSC vessels is English.
