Main Function

Responsible for the supply chain and logistics and food safety

Leads the team involved in the process

Manages all the aspects related to stores and inventory management (Food, Beverage, Hotel and Uniform), RDAs, loading operation, MMS management, cost control, reporting and personnel management reporting to him in accordance with Company procedures.

Qualifications

A good knowledge of all products used on board in the hotel (consumables, chemicals, and uniforms) and food & beverage areas; above-average computer knowledge.

He/she must demonstrate collaborative work style, strong leadership skills and the ability to take proper decision and action whenever any difficult situation arises. Good analytical and planning skills.

  • National Seaman's Book
  • Basic Safety Training Certificate including Swimming & Rowing
  • Security Awareness Training for all seafarers
  • Training of Passenger Ship Personnel
  • Medical certificate including Mental Health and Drug & Alcohol Test
  • Vaccination certificates (Covid-19, Yellow fever, MMRV)
  • MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures the food safety compliance
  • Ensures the correctness of the ships data about stocks, consumptions, orders, loadings, inventories, and MMS internal movements
  • He/she is the Master delegate for offloading/receiving of goods, to check the correctness of the data reported in the landing manifest document, as responsible for the Custom matters.
  • Checks that financial reports and records are accurate and reliable and ensures that assets and stocks are correctly calculated.
