The International Host will enhance our guest’s journey by being an advocate for the brand through impeccable customer service, experience delivery, language assistance and translation services.

Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate fluently in written and oral English plus languages between the European languages: French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and/or Chinese Mandarin, Chinese Cantonese, Japanese, Russian.
  • Above average skills in tactful, diplomatic crisis and problem-handling.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate with authority, accuracy, clarity, and charisma.
  • Previous experience with diverse Luxury/Premium hospitality/cruise lines or Entertainment services.
  • Proficient in English and fluency in any other European languages: French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and/or Chinese Mandarin, Chinese Cantonese, Japanese, Russian. Explora Fleet English Level: C1.

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide personalized customer service, language assistance, and translation to guests, enhancing their understanding and enjoyment of their journey while helping them reach the Ocean State of Mind.
  • Be a communication specialist with our guests, while being a genuine brand ambassador for Explora Journeys throughout the Journey.
  • Maintain the highest level of guest satisfaction by answering inquiries, offering suggestions and being proactive if a problem occurs to guests, by following the Journey Steps.
  • Socialise, welcome guests, contribute to social events, functions, activities, and games in lounges, on deck, in-ports and where appropriate ashore.
