The Photography Host is an integral part of the experience team in delivering photography workshops, editing clinics, destination photography, co-managing Art/Photo Gallery, while creating a transformative luxury ocean travel experience.

Qualifications

Outstanding knowledge of multi brand camera operations, photographic techniques and social media applications.

Must have own working camera.

Physically & medically fit as per Explora Journeys Company policy.

Fluent English, oral and written. Additional European languages are advantageous. Explora Fleet English Level: C1.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead photography workshops.

Assists guests with personal photographic needs at all levels from beginner camera phone to advanced prosumer equipment.

Onboard contact for Art/Photo Gallery.

Works with visiting photographers to elevate photographic experiences.

Acts as Ambassador for MSC Foundation as needed.

Documents “Chef’s Kitchen” experiences.

Able to fulfill all duties of Gallery Host as part of team.

Documents “The Journey” building &managing image library for onboard & social media use.

Researches destination specific photographic galleries.

Perform all additional responsibilities as assigned by the Experience Manager or Enrichment Lead.
